- Wash and clean the mushrooms nicely and pat dry with paper towel/cloth..

- In a kadai, add 1 tbsp oil,butter,whole spices and let it splutter. Then add the ground paste and saute for 2 mins..
- Add salt,chili, turmeric,coriander powder, 1 tbsp kadai masala and mix well. Then add the sauteed mushrooms, heavy cream or thick curd(beat the curd well before adding),little water to adjust consistency and cook for 5 mins..
- Add the sauteed onion and capsicum, kasuri methi or dry mint leaves and mix well..
- Now the most delicious, spicy kadai mushroom is ready. It can be served with Chapathi,Naan Parota, Jeera rice..
It can be served with chapati, parathas and any mild flavored rice like vegetable rice, jeera pulao, peas pulao etc. Kadai muhroom gravy is a nice aromatic, flavourful and very spicy gravy made using a special freshly ground kadai masala.
