  9. It's 1 can (14.5 ounce) of diced tomatoes, undrained.

The choice is yours. (My preference is pasta 😉 ) How to: cook italian sausage. If you're fortunate enough to grill, I would recommend grilling the italian sausage for utmost flavor.   1. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a large pot..........
  2. Add to olive oil your pack of hot Italian sausages, cook until sausages are browned......
  3. Add to sausages your sliced red peppers and onions, turn sausages occasionally and cook until veggies are tender...... you can put a lid on your pot so veggies can cook completely, I left my lid halfway opened while I was cooking them.......😉.
  4. Add to pot your sliced mushrooms, continue to cook until mushrooms are tender......
  5. Next add in your black pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning, sauté for several minutes.........
  6. Now add to pot your undrained diced tomatoes and bring to a boil.......
  7. Cover slightly and cook on medium/ high heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally........
  8. Serve with some crusty bread, or eat by itself and enjoy 😉!!.

Then add salt and pepper to taste and ketchup, just a little bit brings the whole thing together. In large wok or pan, add the remaining oil. Add sausage links and mushrooms to a large baking sheet, and toss with a tablespoon of oil and a pinch of salt. Uncover, bring to a boil, and reduce wine by two-thirds.
