- You need 3 packages of of 2.25 oz baby carrots.
- Prepare 1 lb of Beef.
- It's 1/2 cup of Flour.
- You need 1 large of Yellow onion.
- It's 2 tsp of Oregano leaves.
- It's 1 can of Peas or mix veggies (optional).
- Prepare 1 bunch of Sweet pepper.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Salt.
- You need 1 tsp of Garlic Salt.
- It's 4 cup of Water.
Kenyan Veggie Beef Stew step by step
- Cut beer to bite size.
- Chop onion (larger sizes even better).
- Chop sweet pepper into small pieces.
- On the stove, add one teaspoon of olive oil on cooking pot(warm it up).
- Add beef on the pot and Brown em then add onions...keep stirring till all dark brown.
- Add two cups of water an cook till beef is tender.
- On a separate bowl, add flour with the remaining water...stir to avoid lumps.
- 10-15min of cooking beef with onions, add veggies or peas, sweet pepper mix well.
- 5 min later, add flour mixture while stirring.
- Add oregano and Let it cook for another 10 min....
