  3. Add pounded cocoyam and palm oil. Stir well to dissolve cocoyam paste. Simmer for another 5 minutes. You can add more water if it is too thick..
  4. Add your periwinkle and washed bitterleaf. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Taste and adjust for seasoning..
  5. Your soup is ready. Serve with your choice of swallow, pounded yam, semovita, wheat, eBay..
