Appetizing Stuffed Capsicum step by step
- Firstly prepare stuffing for filling the capsicums. Heat a pan,add oil. When oil is warm lower tho flame add red chilli powder and immediately add ginger paste. Mix and saute for a minute. Add finely chopped onion, capsicum,tomato, peas and cook on medium flame. Now add powered spices,add salt also. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame. Now add boiled mashed potatoes and mix it well..cook for 1 minute and add coriander leaves. Now the stuffing is ready for filling. Let it cool..
- Cut the capsicums horizontally, scoop out the seeds. Fill the stuffing into capsicums. Now cook these stuffed capsicums in oil till golden on low flame..
- For gravy: Heat a pan,add oil. When oil is warm lower the flame. Add coriander seeds,fennel seeds, urad daal, chana daal, dry red chilli, cinnamon stick, black pepper and cloves. Cook them for a minute and add the chopped onion, tomato, ginger,turmeric powder, salt and cook for 5 minutes. Now let them cool and grind into a smooth paste.
- Now again heat pan add oil. When oil is warm add mustard seeds, curry leavesv and bay leaf. Now add that paste and one cup of water. Cover and cook it for 5 minutes at low flame. Now add cream in it and cook for a minute. Now arrange stuffed capsicums into the gravy..
