Recipe: Tasty Tofu chips

Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Tofu chips. Place the tofu in a single layer on a clean dishtowel and cover with another clean dishtowel (I use clean cloth diapers, which work really well). Line a cookie sheet with foil and lightly brush with oil for greasing. Place the slices on sheets of kitchen paper to absorb any excess moisture.

Tofu chips I was browsing through Donna Hay's Autumn magazine. it was described as tofu strips~ which of course much thinner than mine :) as part of a dish. but I had different ideas. as my tofu keeps breaking up, if I were to slice any thinner hence I decided to make these wonderful chips instead. Place the eggs and garlic in a bowl and lightly whisk to combine. Place the quinoa, parmesan, chia, thyme, lemon rind, salt and pepper in a separate bowl and toss to combine. Dip each piece of tofu in the egg mixture, then into the quinoa crumb to coat.
