Ingredients of KOFTA CURRY!
- It's of Step 1: Kofta/ meat balls.
- Prepare of beef mince(fat free).
- It's of ginger garlic paste.
- Prepare of bhona Chana(make powder).
- Prepare of red chili powder.
- You need of garam masala powder.
- Prepare of salt.
- Prepare of coriander leaves.
- Prepare of medium onion.
- You need of infer.
- Prepare of ginger piece.
- You need of green chilies.
- You need of Curry/shorba.
- Prepare of oil.
- It's of large onion paste.
- It's of bay leaf.
- It's of small cinnamon stick.
- You need of cloves(loong).
- Prepare of black cardamom(bari Elaichi).
- Prepare of ginger garlic paste.
- It's of red chili powder.
- It's of turmeric.
- It's of salt(or to taste).
- Prepare of coriander powder.
- Prepare of tomatoes(finely chopped or make a purée).
- It's of tomato paste.
- It's of water.
Then thick tomato and onion gravy is prepared and koftas are dipped in the gravy for serving. KOFTA CURRY! instructions
- For koftas/ meat balls: Add beef mince, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp salt, grind it..
- Then grind coriander, ginger piece, green chilies and onion separately..
- Add bhona Chana powder and coriander onion mixture in beef mince, n grind it well as shown in picture..
- Now grease you hands with lil oil and make koftas/ meat balls. It will make 15 kofta/ meatballs. Keep them in fridge for 10 minutes..
- For curry: Add 1/2 cup oil in a pan. Add 1 large onion paste and sauté it for 4-5 mins..
- Then add the whole spices(bay leaf, cloves, black cardamom, cinnamon) and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste,1 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp salt(or to taste) and 1 tsp coriander powder. Sauté it for 2-3 min..
- Then add 2 chopped/ puréed tomatoes, 1 tbsp tomato paste, mix..
- Add 1/2 cup water. Cook it until oil separates.(basically masala bhonna hy).
- Add 2 & 1/2 cups of water, cook it for 10 mins on low flame..
- When the water starts boiling gently add koftas. And let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame..
- PS: don’t use spoon to turn the meatballs, only tilt a pan..
- Garnish with green chilies, coriander and sprinkle some garam masala powder. ENJOY IT WITH CHAPATI OR NAAN😋.
