Ingredients of KOFTA CURRY!

  1. It's of Step 1: Kofta/ meat balls.
  2. Prepare of beef mince(fat free).
  3. It's of ginger garlic paste.
  4. Prepare of bhona Chana(make powder).
  5. Prepare of red chili powder.
  6. You need of garam masala powder.
  7. Prepare of salt.
  8. Prepare of coriander leaves.
  9. Prepare of medium onion.
  10. You need of infer.
  11. Prepare of ginger piece.
  12. You need of green chilies.
  13. You need of Curry/shorba.
  14. Prepare of oil.
  15. It's of large onion paste.
  16. It's of bay leaf.
  17. It's of small cinnamon stick.
  18. You need of cloves(loong).
  19. Prepare of black cardamom(bari Elaichi).
  20. Prepare of ginger garlic paste.
  21. It's of red chili powder.
  22. It's of turmeric.
  23. It's of salt(or to taste).

  25. Prepare of tomatoes(finely chopped or make a purée).
  26. It's of tomato paste.

Then thick tomato and onion gravy is prepared and koftas are dipped in the gravy for serving. KOFTA CURRY! instructions

  1. For koftas/ meat balls: Add beef mince, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp salt, grind it..
  2. Then grind coriander, ginger piece, green chilies and onion separately..
  3. Add bhona Chana powder and coriander onion mixture in beef mince, n grind it well as shown in picture..
  4. Now grease you hands with lil oil and make koftas/ meat balls. It will make 15 kofta/ meatballs. Keep them in fridge for 10 minutes..
  5. For curry: Add 1/2 cup oil in a pan. Add 1 large onion paste and sauté it for 4-5 mins..
  6. Then add the whole spices(bay leaf, cloves, black cardamom, cinnamon) and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste,1 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp salt(or to taste) and 1 tsp coriander powder. Sauté it for 2-3 min..
  7. Then add 2 chopped/ puréed tomatoes, 1 tbsp tomato paste, mix..
  8. Add 1/2 cup water. Cook it until oil separates.(basically masala bhonna hy).
  9. Add 2 & 1/2 cups of water, cook it for 10 mins on low flame..
  10. When the water starts boiling gently add koftas. And let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame..
  11. PS: don’t use spoon to turn the meatballs, only tilt a pan..
  12. Garnish with green chilies, coriander and sprinkle some garam masala powder. ENJOY IT WITH CHAPATI OR NAAN😋.
  13. You can make the meat balls and freeze them in a ziplock bag..
