  3. Dry simmer the meat.and add the chopped veg.let simmer until starts drying then here can add the carrots.also add some lemon juice.(avoid the piths).
  4. When meat is tender add cilantro and leave to simmer in high medium heat for about 2 minutes..When nice and soft and dryish it is ready to serve with favorate dish chapati or planter or cassava or rice...it's is very versatile and simple dish...
  5. .here we make it with matoke which are East African green bananas,they are very soft and easily cook.
  6. So once the meat is tender.you can prep the matoke bananas:peel and put in bowl of water scrub off the sticky outside using a teethed butter knife..
  7. Prep the matoke bananas:..Then chop up into smaller pieces..Then add in a sufuria /Pan..together with the meat.add about 2 or 3 cups water.then simmer until bananas are tender and the sauce is more thicker....
